Join us in our efforts to promote forest stewardship through education! Our volunteers are truly the lifeblood of our programs and make it all happen, and we would love to have you on board, too! A vast diversity of skills and expertise is reflected in our 150 or so volunteers. People come to us with a variety of backgrounds including, forestry, wildlife, aquatics, engineering, hydrology, recreation, and education- all joining in the spirit of sharing their skills and knowledge with others in hopes of instilling an appreciation for forest stewardship.
Most of our volunteer need is to support Forest Field Days or other youth programs we provide by design. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about working with youth (K-12) to teach them about one of five areas related to forests: recreation, wildlife, forestry, soils, and streams.
