Virtual Forest Explore / Field Days
Virtual Forest EXPLORE, adapted from our Forest Field Day program, is an on-line curriculum for Oregon middle school students. Students examine Oregon’s forest resources with ‘choice boards’ to explore topics such as wildlife🦉, water💧, recreation🏕️, and timber🌲. Videos, readings, games, and more engage students in the learning about forest management and corresponding science concepts that align with Next Generation Science Standards. Each topic highlights an ecological concept and has a career connection.
